I'm also open to any other tips as far as maintaining a computer! Also not sure if I am posting this Hijack This file in the proper manner. I am unsure of some of the stuff that Hijack This comes up with so I wanted to get some help from the more knowledgeable. So I just recently installed Hijack This and I found some virus-type files that needed fixing. Other than that, I don't do much unless the computer is acting strange. I generally perform tasks such as uninstalling unnecessary programs, clearing temporary internet files and defragging my disk. I have had my computer since August of 2005 and although I have done somewhat regular maintenance, I am looking to do a good clean-up/checkup.
