It is very interesting to see Indie Games that have a true message & a true moral and risking to explore areas that are rarely explored in videogames. This War of Mine, the original version, was released for PC, Mac & Linux in 2014, and iOS & Android in 2015.
Although known for the “Anomaly” series of strategy games, “This War of Mine” is now their flagship project. “11 Bit Studios”, based in Warsaw, Poland, is a multiplatform game development studio selling games worldwide whose titles have received multiple prestigeous awards throughout the years including: Apple Design Award, Best of PAX and IGN Editor’s Choice. Michal Drozdowski, creative director at 11bit studios said, “We had this idea from the very beginning and when Deep Silver provided an opportunity to make a console version, we decided to expand our project and bring our ideas to life.” Teach, educate and form emotional bonds as you fight to survive in this harsh world and prevail through this unique narrative.
